Meat and Nut Breakfast CharlesPoliquin.com

This article by Charles Poliquin delivers the single best dietary tip I’ve received during my biosignature course  experience.

The most common question and objection I get about the Paleo diet is what to have for breakfast. While eggs can be a good option overdoing it on the eggs will probably create an allergy which will slow you down on your way to your performance and weight loss goals. Once this breakfast becomes a habit for you and your family you’ll never go back to the corn flakes.
Interestingly children instinctively choose meat and eggs over breakfast cereals, unless you’ve chosen a crack cocaine version loaded with sugar.
One of the reasons why the Meat and Nut Breakfast works is because it provides tyrosine to the brain which is easily converted to dopamine. When dopamine levels are low memory function and concentration are two of the many consequences! Sound familiar?

I’ve been using 1g of tyrosine in the morning and 500g at midday with great results. If you feel better with tyrosine then you probably have a dopamine deficiency which could be the result of poor digestion. I recommend you start with the Meat and Nut Breakfast together along with the HCL tolerance test to make the most out of your new nutritious breakfast.

When people ask me for the best single dietary tip for optimal leanness, energy and sustained mental focus, I invariably tell them to try the rotating meat and nuts breakfast. Clients ranging from NHL & NFL stars to corporate executives rave about the increased mental acuity and focused energy they derive from this food combination. The meat allows for a slow and steady rise in blood sugar. The nuts provide a great source of healthy smart fats that allows the blood sugar to remain stable for an extended period of time.
